Darn. I was really rooting for the Kings to win this one, mainly because Minnesotans are so god-damn condescending when it comes to Wisconsinites. Not really in terms of sports (how many Super Bowls have you losers won?), but in terms of other things. So I was getting excited when the Kings were keeping it close with the Timberwolves, but then a dry spell happened and that was the end of that.
Thus, the Kings continue to be one of the worst teams in the league, with no end in sight (which means that Bruno Caboclo is gonna get minutes right??????), and De’Aaron Fox isn’t really helping matters. He can be good, he can even be great in short spurts, but in between he’s a bit of a mess. His hair gets floppier, his eye-wrinkles get wrinklier, his jumper starts to brick, he’s one of those low-floor high-ceiling kind of players I think. I think that’s what Caboclo was as well, and we saw how that turned out. I’m joking, I’m joking. Jeez. Calm down.
23 points is way more than anything Caboclo has done or ever will do, and it didn’t even feel like an especially amazing game from Fox. I think that’s a good sign.
