Man, did you see how happy LeBron looked after that last made three by Jordan Clarkson? You haven’t, because you haven’t watched the video yet, but you will, and you’ll see just how big that smile was. I don’t think I’ve seen him that exuberant the whole season. I think he really prefers being surrounded by role-players over having All-Star teammates. Clarkson is bringing out something in him that Isaiah Thomas simply couldn’t.
That paragraph is going to look really stupid when the Cavaliers’ implosion continues after this small blip of success. Obviously, I’m not convinced yet, but why shouldn’t I be? Basically the whole roster is different, this is pretty much a whole new team and we can throw out all the old info about them. Except for the tidbit about LeBron getting to play with the ball all the time.
Clarkson’s debut wasn’t amazing by his surprisingly high standards, but it got the job done. Just don’t expect a vid any other time he scores this many.
