DTB’S OFFICIAL DISCLAIMER: Enes Kanter’s assists in this video are really lame. Like, really lame. Four of them are screen-handoffs to Tim Hardaway Jr., who couldn’t miss in the first half; he was a free assist for anybody who passed him the ball. The other one, to Courtney Lee, was actually okay and demonstrated decent court vision on the part of Kanter. None of them involved making a nice pass in a half-court offense.
The thing is, five is a career-high in assists for this dude. I have to show them even if they suck. It’s a testament to how unwilling he is to pass the ball.
The non-lame part of this video is Kanter’s disrespectful dunk on Marcin Gortat. It was one part offensive foul plus one part flop, but the refs let it go and the result was Kanter dunking forcefully on top of Gortat’s prone body. He basically instigated another Polish-Ottoman war 350 years after the first one and then gloated about it afterwards. Sick.
