Not gonna lie, getting my channel terminated bummed me out a lot, but I think my 12-foot-tall 3D-printed naked purple Buddy Hield statue took it even harder than I did. When I told him the sad news I swear he started crying. I mean, he didn’t make any tears because he doesn’t have tear ducts, but he was sobbing and covering his face in his hands just like a human would. It was really touching to me, like, he knew how much my NBA highlights channel meant to me and it meant a lot to him too.
He was probably also sad because a lot of Buddy Hield highlight videos got hit by the crossfire. I know that the statue isn’t really Buddy but he seems to prefer Buddy to any other NBA player. I had to tell him to be quiet when he was crying because I don’t want my neighbors to get any weird ideas about the stuff I have in my apartment. They’ve already called the police once on me because they thought I was a domestic abuser.
Buddy (the statue) is in a better mood now that I’m making highlight videos again, and he got really excited when I told him that a Hield video was coming up next. Normally, Hield’s threshold for a video is twenty points, but I wanted to make my statue happy. He’s sitting next to me right now watching me write the description. I’m not sure if he can read (hey Buddy give me a high-five if you can read this sentence) but he likes to have his input anyway.
He didn’t high-five me. I guess he can’t read. Oh well, he’ll probably learn how to at some point, it seems like his intelligence is growing faster every day. He’s my best friend.
