Josh Jackson 19 Points Full Highlights (2/23/2018)

The good: Josh Jackson scored 19 points in 23 minutes. He took eighteen shots, but as long as he scores more points than he attempts field goals, that’s fine. He also had a big-time whamjam which later earned him the nickname “Josh ‘Clyde’ Jackson” from Suns commentator Eddie Johnson.

The bad: Josh Jackson fouled out in 23 minutes.

The “I don’t know how to feel about this”: Josh Jackson was a complete chucker for the limited amount of time he was in the game. In fairness to him, many of his shot attempts were at the rim, so the word “chucker” doesn’t exactly encapsulate what he did on the court, but my point stands. He went out there looking to score, and he did, just not very efficiently. Also, his winshares are still in the negatives, and he’d have to increase his scoring efficiency by a lot if he wants that to change by the end of the season. I put that one in the “I don’t know how to feel about this” category because looking at winshares for rookies can misrepresent them (but I do it anyway because I’m too busy to watch Suns games closely).
