The only All-Star weekend festivity I watched this year was the three-point shootout. I don’t think I’ve even seen a dunk from the dunk contest or a skill from the skills challenge or a bucket from one of the various real games, and that’s fine. All that stuff is lame, but the three-point shootout, now there’s some entertainment. I can’t get enough of watching NBA players shoot triples. I actually have a self-burned DVD of that vid where Mike Miller makes a whole bunch of threes in an empty gym sans shirt. No, you can’t have a copy. It’s for personal use only.
Anyway, I was really impressed by Tobias Harris’ performance in the shootout. He doesn’t seem like the kind of shooter/player who would succeed in such an event, but he did. Sort of. Obviously, he didn’t win, but he was really stroking it for parts of it. Super quick release. Lightning fast, consistent, it’s amazing how good that shot looks now compared to his Bucks years.
He hit a bunch of them in this game, if you can find evidence of any of them touching rim please let me know because I think they were all pure.
