I don’t think I ever realized that Damjan Rudez and Mario Hezonja were simultaneously on the Magic and Croatian last season. I never connected all the dots. I knew they were both on the Magic, and I knew they were both Croatian, but I failed to cognize that that meant that (too many “that”s) the Magic had, briefly, the greatest player/Croat ratio in the league. I’m sorry, but my apology means nothing, because now Rudez is somewhere that isn’t the NBA (I’m guessing Olympikaos, am I right????? Nope he’s in Monaco I’m so jealous) and Hezonja is soon to be on a different team as well.
I wonder if the Magic are regretting not picking up Hezonja’s option for next year by this point, since he has been showing quite a bit this season. I doubt it. They haven’t really shown the ability to have any sort of coherent thought whatsoever, so the concept of “regret” is probably not part of their nature.
