Dillon Brooks Career High 29 Points Full Highlights (3/7/2018)

Dillon Brooks balled exactly hard enough to give Grizzlies fans the full load, but not so hard as to accidentally cost Memphis the loss. Perfect! Even fanbases of tanking teams want to feel like they have some young talent that is build-aroundable. Brooks is that talent! He is the “young core”. Other members of the “young core” include: …

Frickin’ nobody. Damn. The cupboards are bare, my dudes. I get that the point of the Grizzlies this year wasn’t to have a young core, but instead to compete for the playoffs with Gasol and Conley, but I don’t feel like that’s going to be a very fruitful pairing moving forward. If they had some more younger dudes ready to be that third banana, I’d be more optimistic, but they don’t, and I think I’m going to stop paying attention to NBA basketball in Tennessee for the next five or so years.

Unless Brooks scores mondo points like he did tonight. He’s not really a three-point shooter, but the Bulls aren’t really a defensive team, so those things combined and he ended up rocking their world to the tune of 29 points and 5 threes. O Canada!
