D’Angelo Russell 32 Points/7 Threes Full Highlights (3/13/2018)

D’Angelo Russell hit 7 threes in the first 6 minutes and 30 seconds of tonight’s game versus the Raptors. It says it right there in the title of the vid: “7 Threes”. Which means, of course, that he didn’t make a single one after that point. I think everyone on earth is disappointed right now. Every single man, woman, and child, plus a few units of livestock, from the steppes of inner Mongolia to the ice farmers of Antarctica, are wondering why Russell couldn’t even hit one more three in 40 or so minutes of available playing time.

You can stop watching this video at 1:54, when the last replay of his final triple is show. There is no more entertainment to be gained, in fact, the additional footage just makes things worse. End the video when the excitement is at it’s climax, and you can pretend that the entirety of his performance was enclosed in those brief minutes.

I can barely find the energy to type right now. It’s like when Deron Williams hit all those first-half threes (for the Nets, holy damn, what is wrong with that team????), like 10 or 11 of them or something, and then didn’t break the single-game record even though he was so close. That was bad, but this might even be worse. I feel so lethargic. My muscles are atrophied with disappointment.
