This wasn’t exactly the Marcus/Markieff Morris battle I was hoping for. It was good, but what I really wanted was for them to cross team barriers, unite their forces, and start beating up a ref like he just insulted their mother (like in Semi-Pro). It was a longshot, because obviously neither one of them wants to get suspended for dozens of games which is what the punishment for such a beatdown would be, but is there anything wrong with simply wanting?
Instead, we got Marcus dropping 31 while not even being defended by his bro for a lot of the time. I can’t decide whether them being so familiar with each other’s games would benefit the offense or the defense, but it didn’t end up making a difference. Marcus dominated, but he was dominating Mike Scott and Otto Porter instead.
Also the Celtics lost because Jayson Tatum is a huge choker and I hate him now.
