The Brooklyn Nets look like they’re having a fun time playing basketball. A lot of bad teams get sort of sulky by the end of the season, not displaying the usual comradeship in the usual amounts. Not the Nets. They suck, but they’ve got each other’s backs.
Even the way they play is fun. They have lots of fun players. There is a lot of funness happening over there, and I want a part of it. That’s what basketball is all about, right? Fun? Just because you’re losing doesn’t mean you can’t have fun. That’s what my grandma told me, but then she died and I don’t get to hear her wisdom anymore. Or eat her mysteriously delicious oatmeal raisin cookies. Or sit in her living room watching the snow fall as the multicolored lights of the Christmas tree glimmer.
Fun.
