Justin Jackson this game: 7/9 FG, 15 points
Garrett Temple this game: 1/10 FG, 2 points
This is one of those times where playing the rookie over the veteran isn’t a tanking move, but actually a move that might help win games. I still feel like Temple is the better player overall, but if he’s going to suck like that, it’s probably time to start taking away two or three minutes from him every game until the end of the season when he gets a DNP-CD. That will open up minutes for Jackson to maybe try to be more aggressive and score more points.
Actually, I take that back. I still want to see Temple get fewer minutes as the season winds down, but those extra minutes should be apportioned to Bruno Caboclo, who played 56 seconds in this game and accumulated no statistics. Justin Jackson is cool and I like him, but he’s not ironic enough. Caboclo is oozing with irony. I want him to get ironic minutes.
