In my last Wayne Selden video, a full day and a half ago, I complained that too many of his points were scored in garbage time. That statement of mine turned out to be scarily prescient, because, in this video, Selden scores ALL of his points in garbage time because the ENTIRE GAME after the six-minute mark of the first quarter was garbage time. Selden did his thing and was the only Grizzlies player to have an acceptable performance; the rest of his teammates just failed to show up. So I don’t blame Selden too much for scoring his points in garbage time. He had no other choice.
If Selden punched a teammate or two once they got back to the locker room after that embarrassing loss, I wouldn’t blame him for that either. He scored roughly a fourth of his team’s points by himself, plus, Jarell Martin’s face is very punchable. Ben McLemore also has a very punchable face. After a loss like that, releasing your frustration by getting into fisticuffs with your teammates isn’t unexpected.
