I’m not sure, but I think those were some “M-V-P” chants there at the end of the video for E’Twaun Moore. It kinda sounded like there were only a few dudes doing it, but I think it counts. Add Moore to the list of NBA players who have received sarcastic chants for them to receive the highest award in basketball. I actually don’t have such a list made up, but I’m sure it’s really long.
The chants were not wholly undeserved. 30 points on efficient shooting is something MVP-caliber players do all the time, and if he did it every night, he would be very much in the running. Who is Anthony Davis again? We now know what happens when the touches are distributed in a manner that more accurately reflects the skills of each player and not just the number of unibrows they have.
