Warning: the final bucket in this video might be the lamest one of the year. In a video with only a precious few non-assist buckets, that increases the lameness factor by an astounding percentage.
Also, a bunch of his legit buckets were floaters, which are also lame (on account of floaters being the sole provenance of bad players who can’t get any other shot). The thing that really saves this video, in my opinion, is that it is a video of Kyle Collinsworth. There’s hardly anything better in the NBA universe than seeing a freshly-minted role-player emerging before our eyes.
He’s kind of like a super-duper budget version of Ben Simmons. He can rebound, he can pass, and he can’t really score. Sound like Simmons? Heck yeah it does! I’m going to go even further and say that his handles are better than Simmons’, RIGHT NOW. How often do you see such TIGHT HANDLES from Simmons? That’s not his game, but it’s Collinsworth’s game, obviously, as you can see from this video.
