Dorian “Distributed File System” Finney-Smith had fourteen points in the Mavericks’ previous game against the Magic, but, in my latest stroke of genius, I didn’t make a highlight video for him, citing two reasons:
1. He was 5-of-15 from the field, and I would rather not encourage inefficient shooting
2. I just had this feeling that DFS would score more than that in the near future
As is typical of my predictions, I was right about this one. DFS followed up his fourteen-point performance with a fifteen-point scoring outburst against the Pistons last night. I don’t know how I always get this stuff right. Actually, I do know. It’s because I’m a genius.
Finney-Smith is so allergic to scoring that I feel comfortable saying he won’t score more than fifteen for the rest of the season. If he proves me wrong and scores more than that, it is very, very easy for me to scrub this video, its description, and all reference to its contents from the internet forever.
