The Nuggets aren’t done yet! I’ve written them off approximately 50 times recently in various descriptions, but they’re still kicking. Not only are the still kicking, but they’re kicking other teams right in the SACK, this time divesting the Clippers of their earnestly-held playoff dreams.
I’m still absolutely 100-percent uncertain of what they have to do to make the playoffs from this point, because I’m too busy enjoying the thought of my 8th seed Bucks getting swept, but I bet if they win the rest of their games, they can do it. And then we can see what Nikola Jokic can do there.
Everyone has noticed by now that he plays way better on national TV, which should give the Nuggets a nice advantage. Can you say “averages a triple-double”? Because I don’t think that’d be out of the question. Even in a series loss, that would add immeasurably to his already-large legacy. Yeah, we’re talking about his legacy now. Looking way forward here.
