Terry Rozier 23 Points/8 Assists Full Highlights (4/17/2018)

Who even needs Marcus Smart anymore? He’s still sitting on the bench in a suit due to having him gotten into a fight with a framed picture (the framed picture won, hence the suit and the bench-sitting), but it doesn’t even matter because Terry Rozier is more than happy to absorb all the extra minutes.

As a Bucks fan, I’m not even that upset with Rozier because his success forces Celtics fans to admit that Smart wasn’t actually that good or that important. Since my irrational hate for Smart and his pizza face is way more than my irrational hate for Rozier (hate that is mostly based on the fact that he didn’t even shoot forty percent from the field this season), the net result is a positive for me even though Rozier is totally dominating Eric Bledsoe so far in these playoffs.

When Rozier shoots, you don’t grimace in pain like you do with Smart. When his shots go in, you aren’t surprised. When he finishes with 23 points and 8 assists, all you can think is “Marcus Smart would have gone 1-of-9 from three, blown some layups, and finished with fewer points than Bledsoe”. Hopefully Smart comes back into the lineup at some point and costs the Celtics a few games and then only gets six minutes per game from that point forward.
