Three out of my last four videos have been Jaylen Brown. This is unacceptable. I’ve learned over the years that as the playoffs progress, highlights worthy of being shown on my (exclusive) channel get rarer and rarer. But I don’t think it’s ever been this bad. I just want to do ONE Warriors player other than JaVale McGee (I love that dude but he’s a walking meme I want Livingston) at some point before they win the finals. Is that so much to ask? Kevin Durant has ruined everything for me.
So, yeah. Jaylen Brown. He’s great, but I’m getting a little tired of him being the leading scorer for the Celtics in this series. It’s not fair to him, and it’s not fair to me, and it’s not fair to the fans who want to see the absolute best of the best do their best. The TNT stats people showed that Al Horford was averaging like 17 points in the playoffs, a career high for him. That’s pathetic. This guy is supposed to be good, he’s a frickin’ All-Star, and we’re supposed to be happy about 17 points? Nuh uh. This is the playoffs, man. Take some shots. Don’t let a bunch of young ‘uns take all your glory. I don’t want to have to start using my “Horribleford” nickname again.
Brown, once again, did a bunch of damage early in this one. Unlike last time, his damage wasn’t enough to give his team a commanding lead, and much of Boston’s eventual comeback tonight game by the efforts of other players. Like Terry Rozier, who doesn’t get a video because I’m feeling stingy tonight. Gonna work on some dunkilations instead. Even if they eventually end up getting my channel deleted again.
