It’s likely that I’ve advanced this opinion before, but I don’t care: the Minnesota Timberwolves need to wear these black/purple jerseys more often. They’re, as the kids say these days, “dank”. They make everybody look good in a dark retro synthwave type of way. The bright green jerseys also need to be worn more often because I enjoy destroying my retinas every time I look at the TV screen. Actually, in general, every team needs to wear their crazy-color jerseys more often, and if a team doesn’t have crazy enough colors, they need to come up with crazier colors. We’re in peak NBA jersey time right now, but we can do even better.
I just had to get that off my chest. Now on to Derrick Rose. I have to say as one man to another man, he looks really good in that purple. I think the purple distracts me from the acne scarring on his face or something. I also have to say as one man to another man, I still don’t quite believe that he’s shooting 47% from three this season. Can a player win MIP Improve Player AFTER winning the MVP Valuable Player award earlier in his career? I feel like it should happen just because it could be a crazy random fact that people pull out at parties forty years from now.
And if you’re one of those haters who doesn’t think Rose should be MIP, you can, as Derrick himself as suggested, “kill yourself”.
