Trae Young 26 Points Full Highlights (1/13/2019)

Just like the Trevor Ariza video I uploaded an hour ago (and which is sitting at zero views currently – I expected at least one or two), which depicted Ariza barely missing a triple-double (he was one rebound short), this video shows Trae Young just barely missing the triple-double cutoff of ten assists.

And when I say “barely missing”, I mean he only had four out of the ten required assists. He wasn’t even halfway there.

Ten assists is easy for Young and I expect him to get that many assists roughly every third game or so. So the fact that he wasn’t really that close is anomalous. And, the thing is, eleven rebounds doesn’t just happen for Young. A lot has to go write for him to get that amount of rebounds. He went out and got the necessary rebounds, but they were squandered, as he was nowhere close to the required number of assists.

People would way rather watch a video titled “26/11/10” than they would a video plainly titled “26”. It doesn’t matter if Young’s incompetent teammates where blowing every pass of his that came their way. That’s just how it is.
