Through roughly the first third of the season, Bojan Bogdanovic was shooting above 50% from three on something like four attempts per game. That was like the one time in my entire life where I was happy to be on planet earth as a member of the human race. The whole rest of my life I’ve yearned for nothing but to join the starkindred on undiscovered planets light-years away in galaxies that our telescopes can’t even imagine, but for those few months, those desires were vanquished. I was perfectly content to be here watching Bojangles hit a bunch of three-pointers.
However, we’re past the halfway point of the season, and Bogdanovic finds himself significantly below 50% on threes. He’s not even at 45%. He’d have to hit twenty in a row to get back to 50%, so it’s safe to say that he’s not going to make it back to those percentages this season. That makes me sad. Instead of him being an ultra-elite roleplayer who is totally slept on, he’s just a very, very good roleplayer who is still totally being slept on, but the sleeping on is slightly less egregious than it was before.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go outside, lie on the grass, and think about how badly I would love to have aliens rescue me from this planet where I don’t belong.
