P.J. Tucker 20 Points Full Highlights (1/16/2019)

People think that the highlight videos I make are the star of the show and everything else is an afterthought, but here’s the truth: the stuff I make is an overarching work that comprises three equal parts. The video itself, the description, and the thumbnail.

All three of those things are of equal importance to the work as a whole. I am making art here, and the video is part of that art, the description is part of that art, and the thumbnail is part of that art. No part is greater than any other. Just looking at the thumbnail provides the same value as only watching the video without seeing the thumbnail or reading the description.

Sometimes, it ends up that one of the parts is better than the others, but only rarely. Now is one of those times. Try as I might, I couldn’t make the highlights part very good. Part of it is because P.J. Tucker is a lame player, and part of it is the knowledge that his free-throw line chokejob cost the Rockets the game. And the description, well, you already know how that’s going (hint: not good). But man, look at that thumbnail. Heck yeah. Hang that in the Louvre right next to the Mona Lisa and see which one people want to look at more, and the results may surprise you.
