Treveon Graham 21 Points Full Highlights (1/16/2019)

Before this game, Treveon Graham was 7-of-40 from the field during his Nets career. A subcomponent of that number is his 3-of-26 from three-point territory. If you want my honest opinion, those numbers are total garbage, and by extension, Graham was playing like total garbage. Like, garbage enough that the Nets were probably thinking of waiving him in order to free up space to re-sign Sean Kilpatrick or something. Either waiving him or simply banishing him from the team Carmelo-style. “Hey Treveon, can you just stop showing up to games or practice? We’ll keep paying you but we’re afraid that if you’re near all our good players, you’ll infect them with your contagious garbagey-ness.”

With this game, Graham doubled his total field goal output for the Nets from seven to fourteen. He also doubled his three-pointer output from three to six. All those mean things that people were saying/thinking about Graham before this game? Tossed out the window. Forget about those mean things. Graham has officially shown us that he belongs in the league at least a little bit.

Side note: in actuality, people weren’t saying OR thinking mean things about Graham because nobody realized he was in the league. If they had realized, they would have taken note of how bad he was playing, but he escaped criticism simply on the basis that he escaped detection entirely. That might not be the case any longer.
