Ante Zizic Career High 23 Points Full Highlights (1/19/2019)

What I’m going to say next is going to sound really weird, so I will promise you before hand that my mental faculties are all present and accounted for. I am of completely sound mind as I write this. Here we go. Prepare yourselves:

Is Ante Zicic, like, the best player on the Cavs right now?

Okay, I understand if you find my statement humorous or farcical. But my statement is presented with neither humor nor farce. In the past five games, Zizic has scored 23, 15, 16, 0, and 18. Forget the zero-pointer for a moment; that was a result of Larry Drew falling asleep in his coach’s chair during the game and neglecting his responsibility to decide on substitions.

And those numbers came on the backs of efficient scoring. Zizic isn’t just out there chucking up whatever he wants whenever he wants, even though it kind of looks like that way at times. He’s outplaying so-called “good” players like Jordan Clarkson, Rodney Hood, Kevin Love, and Alec Burks. He might not be able to get hot and score points at will like those guys can, but he has shown to be a solid scorer when the situation calls for it.

I will leave it up to Cavs fans out they want to collectively deal with the sudden revelation that some big white Euro dude who cant barely move is their best player right now. They can either praise him as the second coming of Zydrunas Ilgauaskas or they can sob quietly while contemplating the state of their roster.
