Bam Adebayo 21 Points/6 Assists Full Highlights (1/19/2019)

I feel like Bam Adebayo is going to be an All-Star this season, which will put an end to his videos appearing on my channel at least in the short-term. And this prediction isn’t even that outlandish, because, if you look at the centers in the East, you’ll realize that most of them are nowhere near All-Star caliber. Unlike many of my proclamations, which are made with humorous or provocative intent, this proclamation is neither humorous nor provocative. It is staid and accurate.

I’m going through every Eastern conference team trying to figure out how many centers there are in the conference who are better than Bam. It’s not many. Even when you expand the list to include “players who are arguably almost as good as Bam sometimes”, it’s still a short list. We’ve got Joel Embiid, Andre Drummond, John Collins (who might not even be a center), and…Davis Bertans? Maybe? Lauri Markkanen? You could keep listing centers after that point but you quickly get to the point where you’re listing names who have no business even eating rancid spaghetti-o’s out of the dumpster behind the arena where the All-Star game is taking place, much less actually playing in the game as a chosen All-Star.

Dropping Adebayo from my channel would free up some time for me to do more important things (like maintaining my collection of vintage Hot Pocket wrappers), but I’m not counting my chickens before they hatch. The voters could still screw up and fail to include Adebayo in the All-Star game, especially if they do something stupid like vote for Brook Lopez just because the’s the starter on the winningest team in basketball. Every year there’s one or two major snubs. We just have to cross our fingers and pray to one or multiple deities that Adebayo isn’t one of those snubs.
