I have seen comments by people on the Internet saying that Derrick Rose is not deserving of an All-Star selection this year. Before we continue, let us take a moment to laugh at those ignorami.
Ha.
Hahaha.
I mean, I can see where they’re coming from, kinda. Rose’s stats are good, but they’re not the kind of stats that grant automatic inclusion into the All-Star game. But this is the league where Kobe got to play every year whether or not he was good or not, and not very many people complained. Now we’re going to complain because a former MVP averaging almost 20 points per game might get in? Get outta here with that.
I’ve been doing my part. The script that I wrote that uses several layers of VPNs and proxies along with a sophisticated floppy disk to automatically vote for whoever I choose for the All-Star game has been running nonstop. For a while it was only voting for D.J. Wilson, but now I’ve updated to vote for both Wilson and Rose. I’ve got it set up so that the votes won’t be detectable until right before the selection, and people will be wowed by the sudden increase in his votes right before the deadline. The NBA’s hand will be forced when it appears that the entire population of Earth has voted for him five times.
So there’s no need for you guys to do anything. You can cast your votes for him if you want, but it’s not going to make a dent in the torrent of scripted votes I have already provided.
