Josh Jackson 27 Points/3 Blocks Full Highlights (1/22/2019)

Question to Suns fans out there: is Josh Jackson still considered by your fanbase to be a critical component of the team going forward? Does he make up one third of the Suns’ “big three” with Booker and Ayton, or is the “big three” actually a “big two” and Jackson is just kind of a guy hanging around trying to be like them but not really succeeding? Note that Suns fans are to answer this question as if this 27-point game from Jackson, where he made shots in every conceivable way, had never happened. Do not let recency bias taint your views on this man.

I don’t watch a lot of Suns games, but I watch a lot of box-scores and I watch a lot of stats, so I can say with confidence that Jackson’s stats don’t paint him to be a good player. “B-b-but D-d-d-d-DEE TEE BEE! H-h-he’s still Y-Y-Y-YOUNG!” Yeah, I know he’s still young. But Booker and Ayton are also young and they’re ceritified studmuffins right now, while Jackson is a certified scrubmuffin. That’s why I’m questioning Suns’ fans commitment to him. If I were a Suns fan I would be way more committed to, say, De’Anthony Melton than this guy.

Unrelated, but does Josh Jackson not totally look like Kevin Durant when the light hits him right? He’s even skinny like Durant. So now we’ve got Josh Jackson in the league as young Durant, Dewayne Dedmon as old Durant, and Kevin Durant as Durant Durant.
