DTB’S OFFICIAL* FUN** FACT*** OF THE DAY****: Darius Miller has been a teammate of Anthony Davis since they were both in their rookie years. There’s a bit of a technicality there in that Miller was out of the league in the 15-16 and 16-17 seasons, but other than that, both players have played for the New Orleans franchise for their whole careers. Not the most exciting fact in the world, but I thought it was kind of neat.
The other neat thing about Darius Miller is that he is essentially an extremely bargain-priced (and bargain-skilled) version of Khris Middleton. I’m not saying that just because they have vague facial similarities. Actually, yes, I have drawn this comparison mostly based on their looks. I cannot lie. But if you think about it, they’re sort of similar players, other than Middleton is way better on way higher volume. Why would Anthony Davis want to leave New Orleans when he’s got a loyal Khris Middleton 0.4 on his team?
