P.J. Tucker 18 Points Full Highlights (1/25/2019)

Unlike the last video I made, which featured Jeff Green having what was clearly NOT A REVENGE GAME against the Magic, this game by P.J. “Peej” Tucker against the Raptors was very obviously a REVENGE GAME.

Tucker was a rookie with the Raptors in the 2006-07 season, at the age of 21. He played seventeen games, scored thirty total points (not even attempting a three-pointer in that time), and then was out of the league. It’s reasonable to assume that the Raptors basically ruined his NBA career; he didn’t get back to the league until the 2012-13 season. That’s five intervening seasons where he could have been receiving fat NBA checks, but instead was receiving less-fat Israeli, Ukrainian, Greek, Italian, and German checks.

I won’t pretend to know or understand the Raptors’ motivations for ruining Peej’s career like that. Maybe he was in possession of pictures that depicted Sam Mitchell and Bryan Colangelo sexually exploring each other while wearing gigantic collars (collars which Colangelo would assert are normal sized). Whatever happened there, it happened, and Tucker faced a long road back to the NBA.

Well, Tucker eventually got to the end of that road, and that’s bad news for the Raptors because he totally hates their guts now. Nowhere is evidence of this hatred more clear than in this video, where he makes some good defensive players on Kawhi and hits a bunch of triples. Yep. This is a textbook REVENGE GAME.
