Brandon Ingram Career High 36 Points Full Highlights (1/29/2019)

Brandon Ingram made 16 shots tonight, a career-best. His points were also a career-best, but everyone knows that it’s buckets, not raw points, that are the true measure of how good a performance is. That’s why no one actually likes James Harden (they pretend to, but the truth will be revealed when Paul George wins MVP). 40 points isn’t that cool when you only made 2 shots to get it. 36 points on 16 makes is way cooler, and it makes a way better highlight video.

16 buckets is so many buckets that I went to see how many times someone has made more buckets than that this season. The results saddened me: 24, and that’s not counting all the other times someone made 16. Kemba Walker’s 21-bucket performance happened so long ago that I barely remember that it happened. Another fun stat: Ingram’s point total is the second-lowest for someone with as many buckets or more, after DeAndre Ayton’s 33. Now that was a good video. After you watch this one, you should watch that one and enjoy the total lack of threes or free-throws.

As you should with this one. Ingram only took five free-throws, didn’t even have one triple-try among his twenty field goal attempts, but still made the 76ers eat his beefrod by raining midrange jimbos on them. Sure, the Lakers lost, but who was the real winner? The Lakers, because now Ingram’s trade value is so high that maybe they don’t have to give up Kyle Kuzma to get Anthony Davis. Lonzo Ball and Ingram and some picks and stuff should get it done. Snort.
