Josh Jackson 25 Points Full Highlights (2/2/2019)

Josh Jackson now has the unwelcome distinction of being a player who has gotten fouled on a three-point attempt…and then missed all three free throws. He missed another set of free throws at a different point in the game as well. He’s not even a bad free throw shooter (67% before this game’s 4-of-9 performance which will have a deleterious effect on his percentage), so there’s no explanation other than he just got unlucky (or aliens temporary hijacked his brain in order to get a human perspective on what planet Earth is like, or there were rogue Hawks fans in the building pointing fans at the basket while he was shooting).

Jackson made up for his free throw woes by dunking the ball a couple of times, hitting some smooth pull-up midrange jimbos (of the non-hesi variety), and finishing well at the rim. Dunks are commonplace for him, but his jumper his always been a bit iffy, and his finishing ability is also suspect, so seeing him do those things well has got to be encouraging for the subset of Suns fans who haven’t already moved on from this guy. If he keeps having games like this, he might even manage to have positive win-shares, something that he was unable to manage in his rookie season.
