Josh Jackson 27 Points/7 Assists Full Highlights (2/6/2019)

How many good games does a player have to have before it stops being “lucky” and starting being a “legitimately good stretch of play”? It is three? More? Less? I don’t know.

What I do know is that Josh Jackson has now had three good games in a row, and I’m wondering if this is the start of a trender wherein he actually plays well, or if it’s just a flukey set of games that don’t indicate anyting other than Jackson being hot for a couple of games. Suns fans definitely want it to be the former, or at least the Suns fans who haven’t totally given up on Jackson want it that way. I personally believe that Jackson’s random stretch of good play was, in fact, mostly random, although he did benefit from certain high-profile and high-powered shooting guard being out. His shot selection is just as bad as ever and I have no reason to think that he magically learned how to make all those tough shots within a week.

Attention Suns GM: Jackson’s trade value is high right now. Super high. Maybe you told Igor to showcase Jackson so that it’s easier to trade him. I don’t know. But the market is definitely there for a potential-laden wing player. Unfortunately, the Bucks can’t trade Thon Maker away to get Jackson because the Bucks no longer have Maker to trade. That was going to be my suggestion, but I’ll have to think of something else.

I got it! Jackson + hella contracts to the Wizards for Otto Porter. Wait, that won’t work either?
