Mason Plumlee 24 Points Full Highlights (2/6/2019)

I’m still waiting for some enterprising NBA franchise to accumulate all the Plumlee brothers on one roster and run three-center lineups to confuse and infuriate their foes. You could call it the “triplet towers” or something, and it would suck, but it would also be fun. The Nuggets can do this right now; Marshall Plumlee is a free agent I think, The Hawks would love to be rid of Miles Plumlee and his 12 million per year contract so he can be had for like a second rounder or Will Barton, and as you know, they already have Mason Plumlee. They’re already a third of the way there.

Such a lineup would have a severe lack of shooting, but I just checked, and there’s no rule that says three people can’t all be dunking the same ball at the same time, so I think it evens out.

Mason is probably (definitely) the best out of the three, but even here, you’re not getting a whole lot of scoring. A lot of passing, since he’s one of the best passing bigs in the league (and getting totally marginalized in that area by Nikola Jokic), but scoring is not his forte. Don’t let these mind-blowing 24 points fool you. Or do let them fool you, because I guess that’s the point of highlights in the first place. To provide misleading representations of players by showing only the good and none of the bad.

This is his first 20-burger as a Nugget. Which is really cool, and ultra exciting. But get this: this video has a sky-hook in it. An honest-to-god, Kareem-esque sky-hook. For real. I’m not joking, I would never joke about something so serious. You must watch this video and see for yourself.
