Tyler Johnson 29 Points Full Highlights (2/23/2019)

Tyler Johnson, since getting traded to the Suns, has been, to put it bluntly, total butt cheeks. If that phrase was too blunt for you, I’m sorry, but it’s just the truth as I see it. There’s not really any getting around it; 7 of 34 to start a stint with a new team is the definition of butt cheeks.

It was telling that the Suns commentators were claiming this to be the best offensive performance by Johnson after he had made 4 shots and scored 8 points. They even talked about it right before the second half started, with the KFC bucket chart (shouldn’t, like, Fulton Homes or something be sponsoring the bucket chart?) and everything.

And that’s when Johnson started really going nuts, scoring 17 in the third quarter and showing why the Heat were fools to disband the Johnson & Johnson duo. After such a poor start with Phoenix, a performance like this has to have all their fans breathing a huge sigh of relief. I can almost hear it all the way here in Wisconsin, a faint whooshing mixed in with some drunk whooping.

And while I still have all your attention, I would like to state that I am no longer going to be using the “Meth Curry” nickname for Johnson, as it is disrespectful to the victims of methamphetamine addiction and their loved ones. The real question is, am I being sarcastic with this declaration or not? You decide.
