Full title of this video that wouldn’t fit because YouTube is oppressing me: “Malcolm Brogdon 25 Points/1 Brutal And Unnecessary Screen Specifically Intended To End The Career Of One Of This Season’s Most Promising Rookies Full Highlights (2/27/2019)”.
Well, I hope he’s happy, because it looks the first stage of his nefarious plot succeeded. Marvin Bagley has not played in a single game since his injury, and given that past trends always continue, that means he will never play again. All because Brogdon tried to get his crotchal region in the way of Bagley’s fragile and precious knee.
If you’re wondering about the other stages of his nefarious plot, as far as I can gather they involve injuring the top rookies one by one so that Brogdon can advance his goal of seeing another mediocre rookie (like him) win ROY of the Year. I think his aim to get Shai Gilgeous-Alexander the award; if that’s the case, he really needs to get to work, and he’s missed a lot of chances this season.
Other than the screen, Brogdon was amazing. You can tell this Bucks season is going well because he hit a three with 18 seconds left in overtime. In any other season, there’s no way that shot goes in, the Kings get the ball down by one, hit a shot, and eventually win the game. That’s just how things have gone for the Bucks in the past, but this season is different. I don’t know why or how, but it is. I think Pat Connaughton has something to do with it.
