This is getting out of control. With his latest sixteen-point showing, Jonathan Isaac has now scored exactly sixteen points SEVEN TIMES this season. He’s putting me in the tough position of either making constant mediocre highlight videos (wasting my time) or ignoring his improved scoring to the ire of Magic fans.
Meanwhile, he has only scored seventeen or more four times this season. His season-high is twenty. Somehow, Isaac finds it easy to score in the mid-teens, but anything higher than that is some kind of mystical unattainable goal that he apparently doesn’t want to even try for. And I am suffering serious Isaac fatigue because of it.
I so dearly want to issue an OFFICIAL DTB MORATORIUM on Isaac highlight videos unless he scores more than sixteen points, but that seems a bit premature. He’s still a young, exciting, developing talent, so it makes sense to keep making videos for him as a crude method of cataloguing his progress in the NBA. Instead, I will issue an OFFICIAL DTB RECOMMENDATION: DTB recommends that Isaac scores more than sixteen points in any game where he wishes to be provided with a highlight video, just so DTB can not be so annoyed every time Isaac has one of his “sixteen-point specials”.
