A 22-point, 8-assist statline sounds pretty okay for Trae Young until you realize that he had double the points and double the assists in his 49-point, 16-assist game on March 1. Then, this performance seems like worthless garbage. You could watch this video twice and still not get the same amount of hot Young action as you would watching the 49-point highlight video. And if Young didn’t want to set the bar so high for his highlight videos, he could have just not scored 49 points. It’s like he wasn’t even thinking of the consequences when he did that.
Here’s your DTB protip for the day: if you watch that 49-point highlight video I made for Trae Young, it’s almost like you’re watching the lost (or Nike-confiscated) footage of Wilt Chamberlain scoring 100. It’s like 98% of Wilt’s hundred, except I don’t think that Wilt got 32 assists when he statpadded his way to triple digits. Here’s a link to that video in case you don’t feel like searching my channel for it (I don’t blame you, doing work is hard): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
If you really do insist on watching this inferior Trae Young highlight video, be warned that you might get unduly hyped in the course of your viewing, thanks to the two very hyped Hawks commentators who are so excited to see a Hawks win that their commentary reseaches an orgasmic crescendo on more than one occasion.
