Alex Caruso 16 Points Full Highlights (3/15/2019)

Just as I resolutely refused to append the words “Career High” to the title of my most recent Alex Caruso highlight video (which featured him scoring sixteen points), so do I refuse to append such words to the title of this video (which also features him scoring sixteen points). My previous reasoning holds true: as the Lakers tank out the rest of the season, Caruso’s going to see vastly increased scoring responsibility placed upon his shoulders. If he fulfills that responsibility even a little bit, he should score in the twenties by the time the season comes to its blissful end for the Lakers (emphasis on “L”).

I also don’t want to indicate this game as a career high because it is underwhelming in the “made field goals” department. Caruso only actually made four shots in this game. That sucks for any highlight video, but it doubly, no, triply sucks for a video of a career high. People watch career high highlight videos for the express purpose of seeing unprecedented displays of pure scoring skill. They don’t watch them to experience endless free throws.

Caruso better not let me down here. My reputation as a highlight maker is resting on his ability to score more than sixteen points this season, and to do it in a more exciting, watchable way.
