You’re telling me that the dude depicted in this video has only a month of professional basketball left to play? FOH outta here. Dwyane Wade has still got, as the kids say, “the sauce”. Just like the chicken wings I am eating right now. Jealous? Sorry bro, these are for consumption only by DTB and DTB’s closest associates (mainly Japurri Purrker, I even got the sauce on the side because I know he doesn’t like spicy stuff).
Anyway, yeah, there’s no way anyone can see what Wade did in this game and think that he should be retiring soon. I doubt even he can think that. Does the thought not cross his mind that he just scored 25 on one of the top defensive teams in the league, leading his team back from 0-13 deficit to win easily, and that maybe he should come back for another season and increase his spots on the all-time leaderboards a bit more?
I mean, even Dirk Nowitzki is contemplating a return, and I love that guy, but he is washed. Maybe a little less washed than at the beginning of the season, but Wade looks, like, 500 times more capable of enduring another NBA season. He can still dunk, people. Not like Vince Carter can still dunk, but he can still get his hand barely above the rim.
At best, he’s going to be sitting at home watching the Heat season opener and be like “holy cow I’ve made a huge god-damn mistake”, call up Pat Riley right then and there, and demand a roster spot. And he’ll get it too, because the Heat will have one open for him, anticipating just that scenario.
