Jabari Parker 19 Points Full Highlights (3/18/2019)

Jabari Parker had five turnovers in this game to go along with one assist (which may very well have been the sickest assist ever – I didn’t bother to look at it), leaving his assist/turnover ratio below 1.0 for the year. I think that’s how the math works out, anyway. I don’t understand ratios. Simply put, he has 138 turnovers against 135 assists. That’s not a good thing. That’s a BAD THING.

Since I have said something negative about Jabari, I will now counter that negative thing with a positive thing. He was leading scorer for the ‘Zards in this one because Bradley Beal failed to show up and everybody else failed to show up too. He made the most field goals on the team by far; his eight shots were way more than the next closest teammate (Tevor Ariza with five). In a way, this game illustrated Jabari’s usefulness: when your team isn’t getting buckets, he can go out and get buckets. You just have to withstand his turnovers and lack of defense.

Another good thing about Jabari is that I connect with him on such a personal level that I call him by his first name instead of his last name. That’s usually only reserved for players like Giannis and Kobe and LeBron. Way to go, Jabari.
