Jerami Grant Career High 27 Points/3 Blocks Full Highlights (3/18/2019)

Jerami Grant just had the game of his life, scoring 27 points on a wide variety of scoring moves (including some rim-rattlin’, skull-smashin’ dunks), but all the effort was for naught as the Thunder lost to the Heat, who aren’t even a good team, or at least I don’t think they’re a good team. And you know who I’m blaming for this loss? If you’re a true DTB acolyte, you already know who I’m going to say.

Russell Westbrook. AKA Chucksell Statpadbrook.

Westbrook statpadded this game so hard that the software controlling the NBA’s box-scores glitched out and gave him zeroes across the board, including in minutes played. Somebody who hadn’t watched the game would assume that Westbrook didn’t play at all, and that’s why the Thunder lost. Ha. Scoff. Snort. Westbrook played all right, and his on-court effect was so detrimental that his actions alone resulted in the wasting of Grant’s career night.

Good luck finding any footage of Westbrook’s play on the internet. He was not involved in one single highlight. Everything he did sucked. Since YouTube only exists to show highlights and not lowlights, there won’t be any video clips of anything he did. Instead, you get this expertly-edited highlight package of Jerami Grant doing a whole lot of good things, without any help from Westbrook.

You would think a guy like Westbrook, whose whole self-worth is based around statpadding for triple-doubles, would manage to hit Grant for at least one assist. You’d be wrong. Westbrook statpadded pretty much the whole game, but couldn’t find the hottest (okay, second-hottest) guy on the court for even one bucket. If Grant didn’t find Westbrook in the locker room after the game and deck him in the eye socket, he totally should have.
