Jonas Jerebko 18 Points Full Highlights (3/19/2019)

I have learned to relish the scant opportunities I get to create and upload highlight videos for Warriors players. It seems like weeks or even months go by between chances for me to feature a Warrior on my channel. Their lineup has been so star-studded for so long that I actually yearn for the days when their Don Nelson-imagined offense would allow for any random scrub who could kind of shoot jumpers to score seven to fifteen points per game.

But all the yearning in the world isn’t going to bring back Dorell Wright, Acie Law, Kelenna Azubuike, or Rodney Carney. I’m stuck with the role-players that the Warriors currently have, and those role-players are stuck in a situation where they’ve traded touches and opportunities for playoff experience and championship trophies.

Jonas “Swede Lou” Jerebko is perhaps the role-player on the Warriors who is most likely to bust out and have a good game. He certainly did that in this one, dropping fourteen points on an unsuspecting Timberwolves team. The Timberwolves honestly should have been better-prepared for this; a good percentage of the residents of Minnesota are of Scandinavian descent. It’s not like they’ve never seen a Swedish person before. And you know they have at least a few IKEA stores in Minnesota too, so it baffles me how KAT and company could be so ignorant of the fearsome power of the Swedes.

P.S. Swedish meatballs are garbage and nobody will ever convince me otherwise.
