Chandler Parsons 17 Points/1 Dunk Full Highlights (3/22/2019)

I’m thinking that Chandler Parsons is still a bit out of shape. Not only does he look like he’s out of shape, but, in this game, he was doing good things until about halfway through the second quarter, and from that point on, he only did bad things. Not-so-coincidentally, the first quarter and a half of game time would have been the part of the game where Parsons would have been the least tired. Fresh out of the sauna with a five-hour intense leg massage giving him vitality and pep, he was able to hit some jumpshots with lift and even dunk his first field goal of the game. After that exertion, he was spent, and he occupied himself in the second half by bricking shots and not moving very fast.

I don’t have any advice for Parsons on how to increase stamina. I’ve always naturally had plenty of stamina. While my teammates loaf around after a missed shot, I’m running back on defense, and then when there’s another miss (because most of these idiots at the park insist on taking jumpers they have no hope of making with their borked-to-hell shooting mechanics), I’m running back again to not get the ball passed to me. Of course, after all that running, I’ll jump once for a rebound and both my legs will cramp so bad that I beg for a substitution and then lie on the ground sobbing. That’s not a stamina issue though. That’s a “having chicken legs” issue combined with a “not eating enough pregame bananas” issue.

Anyway, Parsons will have to figure this out without DTB’s aid. I can only suggest that banging Instagram models an hour before tipoff, in the sauna when you’re supposed to be getting your leg massage, is not a good idea.
