Reggie Jackson 24 Points Full Highlights (3/23/2019)

Reggie Jackson subbed into this game with four and a half minutes left in the fourth quarter, with the Pistons up by 6. He promptly bricked a shot, the Pistons only made one bucket the rest of the game, and they lost by 5. Jackson is unfairly made the scapegoat for many of Detroit’s woes during this and past seasons, but I feel like it’s totally fair to completely, unequivocally, 100 percent, blame him for this loss.

I also blame Thon Maker, because there’s no way he HELPED things, is there? If anything, he wasn’t clapping hard enough on the bench. How are your teammates supposed to know you support them in everything they do if you don’t clap really hard and sometimes stand up?

Another fun tidbit for you tidbit-addicted freaks: Jackson racked up an assist about a minute into the game, and that was his only one of the night. Does he think that since Ish Smith is back, he doesn’t even need to think about passing? Is he remembering that famous quote from some football radio announcer from some big NFL playoff game, “why would you even ponder passing?”. That’s a good quote. Lots of NBA players have found the wisdom in that quote.
