Jonathan Isaac 19 Points Full Highlights (3/26/2019)

This contest between the Orlando Magic and the Miami Heat had playoff IMPLICATIONS. The result of this game would IMPLY which of the teams would be more likely to make the playoffs. IMPLICITLY. This Magic team is unseasoned when it comes to games of this magnitude; the only guy on their roster who has ever appeared in a playoff game is Colonel Butz, who made a bit appearance on an 8th-seed Bucks squad almost a decade ago. Everyone else is wet behind the ears (what does that even mean this idiom makes no sense), so to speak. They don’t know what to do when the pressure gets ratcheted up.

With all the IMPLICATIONS of this game for the playoffs, I would sat that this game had a “playoff atmosphere”. Maybe the fans didn’t know it, or they did and they didn’t know what to do (hint: in involves standing up and cheering) because only the oldsters around them had been around for the Dwight Howard Finals teams. But you know that the teams knew what was going on. This was an intense game, but the Magic clawed their way back from a decent deficit and won.

Do they win if Jonathan Isaac doesn’t step up and drop 19 unexpected points? He has no fear of the big stage, of the bright lights, of the mammoth regular-season contest between two incredibly exciting teams that will determine which team gets the 8th seed and the right to be swept by LeBron. Isaac didn’t exactly lead his team all the way to victory, because he didn’t score in the fourth quarter, but let’s he led them three-fourths of the way.
