Here’s the thing: I legitimately LIKE Wayne Selden. Despite his negative win-shares (which I can easily dismiss as a fluke even though I revere win-shares above all other stats), there’s something about his game that just draws me to him. And it’s not just his sexy, expressive eyes, either. Yes, when his sensual gaze locks onto mine and I feel the kindling of something smoldering deep inside my you-know-where, there’s a part of me that craves that connection. But I appreciate Selden as a basketball player too. He’s not just a sexy pair of sexy eyes.
Every time I watch Selden play, he looks SMOOTH. His smoothness might not always result in buckets, but it always results in SMOOTHNESS. He has smooth handles. He has a smooth jumper. His finish ability, likewise, is smooth. Not only are all those things smooth, they are chocolatey. Wayne Selden is, simply put, a smooth and chocolatey player. That’s the kind of player I want to support. That’s the kind of player that I want to gaze lovingly into the eyes of.
There are probably Bulls fans watching this video, at least a couple of them. Do they agree with my assessment. Do they feel Selden possesses SMOOTHNESS and CHOCOLATINESS? Do they LIKE him in the same way I like him?
