Sterling Brown 15 Points Full Highlights (3/28/2019)

With both Malcolm Brogdon and Tony Snell both out for this game, it was a guarantee that Sterling “Don’t Tase Me Bro” Brown was going to get plenty of minutes. There simply aren’t enough shooting guards on the roster for him not to get minutes in this type of situation. He stepped up to the occasion by scoring fifteen points, a season-high, but he didn’t get quite as many minutes as I expected.

I was getting confused for a little bit until I took a closer look at the box-score and saw that Brown fouled out in 23 minutes. Oh. That explains it! While I was watching this game, I didn’t even realize he was racking up fouls (I turn off the commentary so that I can listen to music, which means I miss things that aren’t obvious onscreen actions), so I just thought that Bud was tired of him or something. This explanation makes a lot more sense.

As a Bucks fan, I’m not really sure that Sterling Brown will be a long-term fixture in the league. He’s okay, I guess, and he’s definitely been good value for where he was drafted (middle of the second round). If I’m the Bucks’ front office, I resign him to a long but cheap deal, just to make sure that he has easy access to the Milwaukee court system while he continues to sue the bejesus out of the Milwaukee police department.
