My motivation to write anything interesting or informative for this video description is at an all-time low. Collin Sexton has had so many good games recently (each one of them deserving a highlight video from yours truly) that the well of talking points for these descriptions has run entirely dry. You can tell this is the case because the last talking point remaining in the well is the “there’s no more talking points” talking point. I never wanted to sink this low, but what can I do?
Since I have no more talking points on this dude, I’m going to have to make one up from scratch. And the one I just came up with is that hair tube that’s dangling off the back of his head. At the beginning of the season I though that the myserious hair tube was maybe a hairstyling mistake, but it’s been there for the whole season, so I guess it’s supposed to be there. I’m not up on the latest hair trends (do players still cut that swoop thing into their hair or is that played out?), but having a random hair noodle flopping around like the black version of a rattail can’t possibly be a trend. Can it?
Maybe Sexton will get good enough that he can dictate hairstyle trends. It worked for LeBron: a lot of players are going after that “balding but trying to ignore it” look that he popularized.
