At this point I would definitely take Monte Morris over either of the Morris twins, Marcus and Markieff. As far as I know, Monte doesn’t have any off-court issues, any instances where he and his posse beat the heck out of a dude. So that’s one thing in his favor. If I were a GM, I’d definitely want dudes who have not shown that they are willing to just whomp people in parking lots. Sorry Dennis Schroder.
But that’s a minor point. The major point is that Monte is, in my opinion, way more of a “winning player” than either of those two clowns who he shares a last name with and has a first name similar enough where he could be the long-lost triplet. Yes, I know the concept of “winning players” is really flawed and not grounded in any sort of reality. I don’t care. Monte is playing a decent role for a team that is winning tons of games. Meanwhile, Markieff is dead, struck down by his multitude of injuries, and Marcus is busy tanking the Thunder like he’s Carmelo reincarnated. When you put it that way, it seems perfectly clear, doesn’t it?
